New Ross Community Hospitals’ spring fundraiser is well on the way to being a roaring success with a groundswell of support seeing the majority of tables snapped up.
Celebrating 35 years in operation, a big push from the organising committee is now on to sell out the highly anticipated spring social. Speaking on behalf of the staff, Senior operations and HR administrator, Claire Mullet: said “The grand gala is a night set to dazzle and the monies raised will make a significant start towards the building compliance works required to operate in a modern health setting. The response to date is so warm and much welcomed. It is a testament to the value New Ross Community Hospital holds in the hearts of people”.
The dinner dance is scheduled for 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, at the Brandon House Hotel. A welcome reception in the lobby will set the tone for an evening of camaraderie, good food and great music.
Hospital board member Seamus Kennedy thanked everyone who had purchased tickets to date and called on local businesses, groups and associations to band together over the next few weeks to host a table of ten or buy individual tickets.
