The Parade will proceed down the Irishtown and turn onto Haughton Place, to the Youth Centre at Nunnery Lane; from here it will proceed by Ard Na Greine to the Three Bullet Gate, where the New Ross Confraternity Band will keep you entertained while you wait.

The parade will continue down Cross Street and turn right onto Priory Street/ South Street until it reaches the corner at O’Briens /Byrnes Opticians where it will turn left down Charles Street, turning left at the end of the street and heading across the Quay to the stage where our DJ Bob Saunders and MC Paul Kelly will be waiting …

Once past the stage walking groups are asked to proceed to the rear of Billy Foley’s car park to disband and vehicles/ floats may continue on

each entry will be given their place prior the day and are asked to stay in the place number allocated.

All vehicles /floats taking part are asked to assemble in the Irishtown from the traffic lights back to St. Stephens Cemetery from 1pm – the Stewards will direct you to the place allocated to you.

Please note there will be a one way system in place from the traffic lights to Kelly’s Garage via the Bawnmore to facilitate the set up of the vehicles

As the final walking group passes through the traffic lights, vehicles will be instructed to fall in behind in an orderly fashion.

We are asking as many people as possible living or working along the route to get involved and decorate the route in the spirit of the day… the theme is “Community Togetherness ” this emphasises the importance of coming together as a community and supporting each other, and we are looking forward to seeing your interpretation of it…
