*IMPORTANT MEETING*
There is a very important meeting being held in Terrerath Hall on March 12th @ 8pm. This meeting is being held by the Church to discuss selling the field to Cushinstown AFC.
At the moment, the soccer club leases the field from the church which excludes the club from obtaining sports capital grants to develop the pitches as they don’t own the field. The club have great facilities at the moment and the number of kids are growing from year to year which is absolutely brilliant but it brings it own problems with pitches. The club has 19 groups and provides a place for everyone from 2 year old boys and girls to adult level. Between bad weather and the numbers using the pitches, the pitches are becoming unplayable more and more weekends so the club really needs to make one of the pitches an *ALL WEATHER PITCH*.
This can only be achieved by obtaining a Sports Capital Grant so it is vital we can buy this land to qualify for this and keep developing the facilities so the kids are kept playing all through the winter, consistently.
Can everyone please make a big effort to make this meeting for the future of the Cushinstown AFC.
